In association with HSS
A few of us older gentlemen in the society will be setting up moth traps at Cromwell Bottom on Friday night 1st August, so we can examine the catch on Saturday morning, coinciding with Cromwell Bottom LNR’s Open Day. Last year we trapped over 300 moth species on the night before the open day, which was a local record. We are hoping to do even better this year! Everyone is invited to come along and peer into the moth trap, and take part in a butterfly count in Tag Meadow, weather permitting. There will be numerous other displays to visit during the Open Day. Please come along and support our Local Nature Reserve!
