Where have all the butterflies gone? Have you noticed, after a long journey, there are far fewer flies “splatted” on your windscreen than there were 15 years ago? Food chains are often dependent on insect pollinators, but we are decimating our bee populations by the uncontrolled use of pesticides. We are in the the midst of an insect crisis which may be far more damaging than climate change. If we are to believe what we read in the press, then we are all doomed!

Anthony Arak presents the facts based on the most up to date scientific evidence on what is happenning to insect populations both worldwide and locally. Can we sleep in our beds easily (in the absence of bedbugs) or are we on the cusp of life-threatening “Insectogeddon”?
